How simiq handles your data.

Who is responsible

This policy explains how we process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and the Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.

simiq is a product of its niio s.r.o., the controller of your personal data on https://simiq.co. For anything about your data, write to hello@simiq.co.

its niio s.r.o., Dudvážska 5110/23, 821 07 Bratislava, Slovakia. Company ID (IČO) 57 743 193, tax ID (DIČ) 2123104401, not a VAT payer. Registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III City Court, section Sro, insert 202159/B.

The fitting demo

Your height, weight, body type, measurements and bra size never leave your browser. They are not sent to us or to anyone else, not stored on your device, and gone when you close the page. The 3D body is computed on your device from files that are the same for every visitor.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we process your email address to tell you once when simiq goes live. You confirm it with the link in the first email we send; until you click it, you are not on the list.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us; withdrawing does not affect what we did before.

We keep your address until we have sent the launch email, or until you leave the list, and then delete it.

The contact form and email

If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your name, your email address, whether you are an investor, a brand or someone else, your fund or brand site if you give it, your message and anything else you send. We use it to answer you, send what you asked for and talk about working together.

The legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or, where your message is not about a contract, our legitimate interest in answering business correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We keep enquiries as long as needed to handle them, and at most one year after our last exchange if no contract follows. Data in contracts and invoices is kept for as long as the law requires.

Who processes it for us

We do not sell your personal data or give it to third parties for marketing. Only these processors, bound by contract and by the GDPR, have access to it:

We make no automated decisions about you.

Counting visits without cookies

We count page views with our own installation of Umami, hosted on our servers in the European Union. It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser, collects no personal data and cannot recognise you on a later visit. A browser Do Not Track setting switches it off.

We also count that a waitlist signup or a contact message went out, and from which kind of sender (investor, brand, other), never what you typed. Nothing you set in the fitting demo is counted.

Cookies

simiq.co sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have these rights over your personal data:

To exercise your rights, write to hello@simiq.co; we answer within one month.

Complaints

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
